LFCF was founded by two passionate industry professionals with diverse expertise in film, media, and storytelling. We have also been going to may film festivals for decades including over 10 years at Cannes Film Festival (all the pics below are from Cannes over the last 3 years)
- Marysia Trembecka – An actress, producer, and former banker, Marysia has over 20 years of experience at film and content festivals worldwide, including Cannes, American Film Market (AFM), Berlinale, NATPE, TIFF, MIPCOM, and MIPTV. She is the creator of various world-touring shows, including The Singing Psychic, a multi-award-nominated sell-out show. With a strong background in film, finance, and distribution, she brings an in-depth understanding of performance, storytelling, and industry dynamics to the festival, ensuring LFCF is structured for long-term success and sustainability.
- Jose Espinas – A respected cultural critic and journalist, Jose runs an online publication covering fashion, art, culture, architecture, design, events, and society. Having attended and reviewed major film, art, design, and fashion festivals worldwide, he brings a keen eye for creative trends and a deep appreciation for the evolving landscape of visual storytelling. His expertise in media and critique provides LFCF with a strong foundation in recognising and celebrating artistic excellence.
